5 star rating I enjoyed my visit. Very nice facility. The turtles are very well taken care of. I loved seeing the baby turtles swimming around. I would visit again. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop. The facility is free to visit, which is a plus. Nice gift shop. The beach is just a short walk behind the facility. I highly recommend it.

5 star rating Amazing and totally unique experience!! Totally recommend this! Not for young children though. I stumbled across this looking for things to do. It was Turtle Walk. It was from 9 PM - midnight. Scouts went out to find loggerhead sea turtles coming out of ocean to lay their eggs on the beach. While they were doing this we learned about sea turtles and what we would see if they found this occurring. Fortunately there were a number of turtles coming up that night. We were about 3 feet away from where she was laying 80-100 eggs. Once she was done we watched her bury the eggs, camouflage her nest, and return back to the ocean. No lights or cameras allowed though. It disrupts their nesting. Seeing a turtle is not guaranteed but they said June and July is a great time to see them.

What a great place to learn about Florida’s Loggerhead turtles! Fun, informative tour. The staff was amazing and their passion for the LMC’s mission shines in all they do. The gift shop was fantastic with a large variety of options.

5 star rating The highlight of my vacation! On our last day in FL, my husband and I decided to take a visit here. It is actually completely free to visit, view the aquariums and the turtle tanks. We chose to purchase tickets for a guided tour which was totally worth it. The guide taught us a lot about the mission and work of the center and provided a-lot of background on the turtles and their rehabilitation process. If we're ever in the area again, I'll definitely be sure to visit again.

5 star rating We always stop at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. This year was an exceptional visit. The newly enhanced center was a delightful surprise with a wonderful theatre, classrooms for children and an outside lunch 'room' for children. The enlarged gift shop was difficult to leave with so many new items. At this visit we attended the By the Sea Lecture Series which was preceeded with a 'happy hour' at the 'new' Center. Additionally, I enjoy following the number of turtle nests (located 8 at this time), and walking the beach to try and locate a nest myself. A great visit for all.

wonderful facility! donation based if you choose (card or cash). small, but my niece and nephew love it and i do too. there is a playground out back, a quick walk across the street to the ocean, really kind volunteers are there to answer any questions. i learned so many sea turtle facts i never knew! turtles of all sizes were in pools while we were there, even a teenie baby! they do have a large gift shop and a small food concession stand if you are looking for a souvenir or bite to eat.

My daughter (16) and I did a public tour with Bob as our tour guide. We lucked out it was just the two of us, and even though it was thundering and lightning and we weren’t able to really see all the turtles, we still had an amazing tour. Bob answered a gazillion questions for us and we learned so much more than we expected. Really worth it and gave us a better appreciation for all the marked turtle nests on the beach and what was going the next morning when we got to see some baby loggerheads (we think) hatching and making their to the ocean!

5 star rating What a happy place. We always stop by Loggerhead Marinelife Center. This year was a great visit. The newly enhanced center was a delightful surprise. On one of the exhibit’s my grandkids made sea creature surprises and then they found them in a very colorful aquarium. The classrooms for children especially the vet class experience was just perfect for my 6, 9, and 10 year olds. Pam was a great teacher! Very enjoyable 🐢🐠🐟🐡

This is such a wonderful place!! Admission is donation accepting. When you walk in your greeted with a huge turtle skeleton hanging from the ceiling and an aquarium below to your right. To the left is the gift shop. Once you walk through to outside, is where the fun begins. You get to see giant sea turle in rehabilitation to be re released. We did get to see some baby turtles getting a Dr. Check up and it was adorable. Following the walk path it leads you to a Cafe and lounge, which we didn't go into. There's another entrance to where some jellyfish and other fish are as well in a dim lit room. It was just my husband and I and we both had alot of fun!

5 star rating I attended a hatchling release. The presentation prior to the release was well organized and the staff were very knowledgeable. Once we were on the beach the staff were professional in handling the hatchling. These people are passionate about what they do!
